Prados  in  Southern  Chile
Page revised 5/31/00
Juan and Helen Prado have been called of the Lord to reach out to the native Mapuche Indians of  Southern Chile.
.
These Mapuches are  very humble folks that live in rural areas scattered thru the country side.   Juan soon hopes to minister to about a dozen Churches from the centrally located town of  Lautaro.   Dear to Juan's heart is a small remote Church in Dollinco.

*  The 3 men pictured here are some of the early  missionaries to this area.   Returning to Chile after many years absence is Henry Tobelman ( left) who ministered  in the area of   La Serena & Temuco.   In the center of the photo is native Pastor  Luis Nahuelpan who started many Mapuche Churches.  On the right is  George Black  ( 92 year old missionary ) and one of the origional  G.M.S.A.  Chile missionaries.

*  Here is the small  country Church at  Dollinco Chile.
Juan says the winter winds blow right thru it.

* The  Alhueco Church is the  "Mother Church"  of  the Dollinco Church.

* Agua Santa  means  "Holy Water"  in Spannish.
Here we see some for the Agua Santa Church going to a Baptism service.
