A devotional reflection on Paul’s teaching about spiritual fruit.
Paul taught that spiritual fruit is evidence of the Spirit’s work. Love, joy, peace, and the rest are not self?produced virtues. They grow where the Spirit dwells. They reveal the root of a transformed heart. And they testify to the presence of Christ.
Fruit That Grows Through Surrender
Fruit grows in surrendered soil. It grows when believers yield their desires, habits, and attitudes to God. The Spirit cultivates what the flesh cannot. He prunes what hinders growth. And He nourishes what reflects Christ.
Fruit That Blesses Others
Spiritual fruit is never for the believer alone. It blesses families, strengthens churches, and witnesses to the world. Love heals wounds. Joy lifts spirits. Peace calms storms. Patience builds trust. And kindness opens hearts.
Living a Fruitful Life
A fruitful life is a Spirit?led life. It listens, obeys, and trusts. It reflects Christ in ordinary moments. And it brings glory to God.
