Nehemiah: The God Who Strengthens The Work

A devotional reflection on perseverance, prayer, and faithful labor.

Nehemiah

Nehemiah reveals God’s strength given to those who labor for His glory. Nehemiah teaches that prayer, perseverance, and courage are essential in God’s work. God equips His servants to overcome opposition and finish the tasks He assigns.

The joy of the LORD is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)

So built we the wall. (Nehemiah 4:6)

Remember me, O my God, for good. (Nehemiah 13:31)

Christian Application

Nehemiah encourages believers that God strengthens weary hands and honors faithful service. He sees every act done for His name. Serve God with diligence, pray continually, and persevere through opposition.

Sample Prayer

Lord, strengthen my hands for the work You have given me and keep my heart steadfast. Amen.

Hymns for Nehemiah
