Athens Bible Church is an independent, non-denominational fellowship group of believers from many different backgrounds, ages, and walks of life. We are committed to the truth of the Bible, prayer, supporting missions, and living out our faith in everyday life. Visitors are always warmly welcomed and encouraged to feel at home. History
Our church was founded in the 1970s by a small group of Christians with a heart for solid Bible teaching and gospel outreach at Ohio University. Since then, God has grown our fellowship, and today we continue to stand firmly on the truth of Scripture while seeking to serve both our local community and the world.
