John 6:22-29

May 11 2014 – Audio Sermon on John 6:22–29 by Pastor William Hixson

When the crowd seeks Jesus for more bread he redirects them to work for the food that endures to eternal life The sermon explores the difference between temporal provision and spiritual nourishment, the call to believe in the one sent by the Father, and the nature of saving faith It urges listeners to seek Christ as the source of lasting life rather than transient satisfaction

Some good hymns for John 6:22–29 are Be Thou My Vision by Dallan Forgaill, Trust and Obey by John H Sammis and I Know That My Redeemer Lives by Samuel Medley
