Cyprian of Carthage: Shepherd in the Storm

A devotional reflection on Cyprian’s pastoral courage.

Church Martyrs Before 1600

True shepherds stay with their flock in danger. Cyprian guided the church through plague, persecution, and division. He refused to flee when believers suffered. His martyrdom sealed his testimony as a faithful shepherd.

Stand fast in the faith. (1 Corinthians 16:13)

He that endureth to the end shall be saved. (Matthew 24:13)

The Lord is my shepherd. (Psalm 23:1)
