Herod Agrippa: Almost Persuaded

A devotional reflection on Agrippa’s near?conversion.

Romans in the New Testament

Almost is not enough. Agrippa listened to Paul’s testimony with interest, even respect. Yet he stopped short of surrender. His story warns that being “almost persuaded” is still rejection.

Almost thou persuadest me. (Acts 26:28)

Now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Harden not your hearts. (Hebrews 3:8)

Christian Application

This devotional encourages believers to respond fully to Christ, not partially. Surrender completely to Jesus today.

Sample Prayer

Lord, keep me from half?hearted faith. Draw me fully to Yourself. Amen.

Hymns for Romans in the New Testament

This devotional pairs well with the hymns I Surrender All by Judson Van DeVenter, Just As I Am by Charlotte Elliott, and Jesus Lover of My Soul by Charles Wesley.
