Nahum

Nahum reveals God’s judgment on wickedness and His care for His people. Nahum teaches that God is both a refuge for the faithful and a consuming fire against evil. His justice is perfect, and His timing is sure.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble. (Nahum 1:7)

Who can stand before his indignation? (Nahum 1:6)

Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings. (Nahum 1:15)

Nahum encourages believers that God sees oppression and will act. His people can rest in His strength and protection. Trust God’s justice, rest in His protection, and stand firm in faith.
