The Blind Man Who Saw Men as Trees: Healing in Progress

A devotional reflection on Jesus healing a man in stages.

Miracles of Restoration

Jesus works patiently in the process of healing. This man’s healing came gradually – first partial, then complete. Jesus touched him twice, showing that God’s work sometimes unfolds in stages.

I see men as trees, walking. (Mark 8:24)

He put his hands again upon his eyes. (Mark 8:25)

He was restored. (Mark 8:25)

Christian Application

This devotional encourages believers that slow progress is still progress. Jesus is faithful in every stage of healing. Trust Jesus with the process today, even if you are not fully where you want to be.

Sample Prayer

Lord, guide me through each stage of healing. Help me trust Your timing. Amen.

Hymns for Miracles of Restoration

This devotional pairs well with the hymns Have Thine Own Way Lord by Adelaide Pollard, I Need Thee Every Hour by Annie Hawks, and Be Thou My Vision by Dallan Forgaill.
