The First Missionary Journey

Paul began his first missionary journey with Barnabas.

The Sending of the Church

The believers in Antioch gathered in prayer and fasting, seeking the guidance of the Lord as they prepared to send Paul and Barnabas into the work God had called them to. Their unity and devotion created a foundation of support that strengthened the hearts of the missionaries. The journey began in an atmosphere of worship and surrender.

The Partnership of Brothers

Paul and Barnabas traveled together with a shared passion for Christ and a deep commitment to the gospel, encouraging one another through trials and victories. Their friendship became a source of strength as they faced both open hearts and hardened resistance. Together they carried the message of salvation with courage.

The Planting of New Churches

As they preached, taught, and encouraged, new communities of believers were formed, each one a testimony to the power of the gospel to bring life where there had been none. Paul strengthened these young churches with patience and love, helping them stand firm in faith. The seeds planted during this journey would bear fruit for generations.

The Joy of Obedience

Though the journey was marked by challenges, Paul and Barnabas found joy in knowing they were walking in the will of God. Their obedience became a light to those who watched their lives and heard their message. The first missionary journey revealed the faithfulness of God to guide and sustain His servants.
