Daily Devotional on Review of the Talents

A devotional reflection on Jesus’ parable of the talents.

Jesus told of a master who entrusted his servants with talents. Each received according to ability. The story reveals that God gives gifts, opportunities, and responsibilities with purpose.

A Call to Faithful Stewardship

Two servants invested what they received and doubled it. Their faithfulness pleased the master. Jesus taught that stewardship is not about comparison but obedience. Faithfulness matters more than quantity.

A Warning Against Fear

The third servant hid his talent out of fear. His inaction revealed a distorted view of the master. Jesus warned that fear can bury purpose and silence calling.

Living as Faithful Stewards

Believers are called to use what God has given — time, gifts, influence — for His glory. Faithfulness becomes worship.
