Daily Devotional on Review of the Ten Virgins Parable

A devotional reflection on Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins.

Ten virgins waited for the bridegroom. All had lamps, but only five brought oil. Jesus used this story to teach about readiness for His return.

A Warning Against Neglect

The foolish virgins were unprepared. Their lamps burned out. Their opportunity passed. Jesus warned that spiritual neglect leads to unprepared hearts.

A Call to Watchfulness

The wise virgins kept oil in their lamps. They lived ready. Jesus calls His followers to stay awake spiritually, to guard their hearts, and to walk in obedience.

Living Ready for His Coming

Readiness is not fear but devotion. It is living with purpose, holiness, and expectation.
