Zephaniah: The God Who Purifies And Restores

A devotional reflection on judgment, renewal, and God’s rejoicing love.

Zephaniah

Zephaniah reveals God’s purifying judgment and His restoring love. Zephaniah teaches that God removes what is corrupt in order to restore what is good. His judgment is righteous, and His salvation is joyful.

The great day of the LORD is near. (Zephaniah 1:14)

Seek ye the LORD. (Zephaniah 2:3)

He will rejoice over thee with joy. (Zephaniah 3:17)

Christian Application

Zephaniah encourages believers that God delights in His people. He sings over them with love and gathers them with compassion. Seek the Lord, walk in humility, and rest in His rejoicing love.

Sample Prayer

Lord, purify my heart and help me rest in Your restoring love. Amen.
